System Upgrade

We wish to inform our valued members that we'll be upgrading our system to enhance your experience in person and with our online services. This planned upgrade will be implemented over the weekend of May 29th, 2020 and completed by 12:00pm (Noon) on Monday June 1st, 2020. As a result of this upgrade, we will be closed as usual over the weekend and all branches will open later at 12:00pm on Monday June 1st.

We have been sharing information regarding the system upgrade that will provide enhanced services to our valued members. The bill pay service that you have been utilizing will be changing as part of this system upgrade. The current bill pay service will be unavailable from 5:00pm on May 29th through June 1st, 2020.

Here's what you can expect with this upgrade:

  • Enrollment in the new Bill Pay service will be required on or after June 1st, 2020.
    • When you login to online banking you will click on the bill pay tab to enroll.
  • Your payees, history and any scheduled payments will not automatically be moved to the new system.
  • After your payees are established you can set up your single and/or recurring payments.

Benefits and Features of Upgrade:

  • Ability to transfer funds to any account or pay any person.
  • Use GiftPay to easily send a gift check or charitable donation.
  • Set-up e-Alerts to closely monitor activity.
  • Use CardPay to expedite the transaction payments for any payee that accepts card payments.

Preparing for the Upgrade:

  • Last day to schedule a payment: TBD.
  • Print/download any payment history you want to have access to after the upgrade.
  • Keep the list of payee information or login and obtain payee information on the current system.
    • You can request this list after the upgrade also.

Important Dates:

Last day to print your Bill Pay History Friday 05-29-2020 (5:00pm central time)
Last day to schedule a payment* Wednesday 5/28/2020
Bill Pay will NOT be available Friday - Monday 05/29/2020 (5:00pm - 06/01/2020)
*Please be mindful of your due dates for payees at the end and beginning of the month to allows the payment to be made on time.

Online banking is a secured and convenient way to manage all your accounts 24/7 for FREE! We are excited to announce that part of our system upgrade will include a new Online banking product called Mobicint. This change will provide you with enhancements designed to improve your experiences with additional consistency between the online and mobile systems. The security of your account is very important to Railway Credit Union, and all account information before, during and after the upgrade will remain secure. We encourage you to use the links below to watch informational videos regarding the online and mobile app banking products.

Your current account access through online banking and mobile app will shutdown at 5:00pm on Friday May 29th. Please make sure any transfers, payments or balance inquiries are completed prior to then.

When the new system is available on Monday June 1st, you will still access the login screen from our website www.railwaycu.com. You will need to enroll in the online banking system using these instructions (Instruction guide):

  1. Your temporary User ID will be be your member number
    • • You will be prompted to change your User ID to something other than your member number that is a minimum of 6 characters. 
  1. You will have a temporary password of June XXXX!
    • • ​The X's will serve as the last 4 digits of your SSN
  2. ​You will be prompted to change your password at that time
  3. Once you are logged in you will be able to review your accounts, and add services such as Bill Pay, or e-Statements
  4. Please refer to the Mobile App/Deposit tab for more information on downloading the mobile app

If you have any troubles accessing the new system on Monday June 1st, 2020 our staff will be available and happy to answer your questions. 

 

 

Railway Credit Union will be updating both Online and Mobile services. Please be aware of updates and important dates that are involved with this update.

  • Complete Online and Mobile transactions prior to 6:00pm on Friday, May 29th; Online and Mobile services will be unavailable until 12:00pm Monday, June 1st.
  • Submit Mobile Deposits prior to 3:00pm on Thursday, May 28th; Mobile Deposits will be unavailable from 12:00pm May 29th to Monday, June 1st.

The mobile app can be downloaded from your mobile device store. Search RailwayCU to find our new app. The same login (username & password) will be used for online banking and the mobile app. Current app users must delete the old app then download and install the new mobile app.

ACCOUNT INFORMATION

  1. Why is Railway Credit Union making this upgrade?
    • • We are upgrading with your best interest in mind: to operate more efficiently as well as provide our members with new products, functionality and benefits.
  2. Will my account number change?
    • • No, personal account numbers will not change. However, account suffixes will change. Please refer to the "Resource Guide" for a complete list on the new account suffixes.

CHECKS, ACH, AND PAYROLL

  1. Will Direct Deposit/ACH/Payroll Deductions be affected?
    • • No, these transactions will be processed without interruption.
  2. Will I still be able to use my checks?
    • • Yes, your personal checks, account number and routing numbers will all remain the same during and after the system upgrade.
  3. Will I notice any chances on my statements?
    • • Yes, the look of your statements will be enhanced.

CARDS AND ATM

  1. Will my debit card continue to work during the conversion?
    • • Yes, you may have lower limits over during the upgrade weekend (May 29th - June 2nd).
  2.  Will i receive a new debit or credit card?
    • • No, you will not need a new credit or debit card. All information including PINs will remain the same.
  3. Will I be able to us the ATM on the weekend of May 29th?
    • • You will have access for ATM withdrawals, however withdrawal limits may be lowered and RCU ATMs will NOT work during the upgrade weekend (May 29th - June 1st).

ONLINE BANKING AND BILL PAY

  1. Will I be able to access online Bill Pay?
    •  • All existing bill pay users will need to enroll in the upgraded bill payment services and then setup all payee information. Existing users will receive an additional letter that will include a complete list of your current payee information to assist with setup.
  2. Will Online Banking User IDs and passwords change?
    • • Yes, your temporary user ID will be your member number. You will be prompted to change your User ID to something other than your member number that is a minimum of 6 characters. Upon your first login, you should use your existing username and the "JuneXXXX!" as the password, where "XXXX" = the last 4 digits of the member's social security number. Following the first login, you must reset your password to one of your own choosing.
  3. Can I access online banking or the mobile app during the upgrade?
    • • You will not have access to online banking or the mobile app/deposits during the upgrade from May 29th - June 1st. The mobile app can be downloaded from your mobile device store. Search RailwayCU to find our new app. The same login (username & password) will  be used for online banking and the mobile app. Current app users must delete the old app, then download and install the new mobile app.
